Lose the Resolutions!

December 26, 2018

The presents have been opened, the food devoured, family has returned home and things have returned to normal. Well, almost normal. Plans are now underway to bid farewell to the year that was and welcome the year that is to come. Happy New Year!

If you’re like most people, January goes something like this: You choose a problematic behavior or two or three – okay make that four or five - that has plagued you for years and vow to reverse it. Your inventory of shortcomings to be perfected are commonly known as “New Year’s Resolutions.” All of which are typically off your radar by February.

Do something different in 2019. Lose the long list of changes you want to make this year and instead pick ONE WORD. That’s right, just one word. Give the new year clarity by taking all your big plans for life change and narrowing them down into a single focus. Just one word that centers on your character and creates a vision for your future.

We will be talking more about choosing and living in ONE WORD this Sunday. Don’t forget, we have just two services - 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. See you then!
