This past Walk to the Manger Sunday, a little boy, early elementary age, brought a dollar to the manger. It was his dollar, one that he had earned, that he wanted to give so that presents could be bought for school kids who otherwise might not have anything under the Christmas tree. It was a small gift that certainly won’t purchase a complete present. But it was a huge heart that filled the room with God’s presence. And a few of those dollars put together will put a toy under the tree.
Small gifts add up and they are crucial to the ministry of Aldersgate Church.
It’s not about the amount of the gift, it’s about the size of the heart. As we approach the end of this year, would you be willing to give from your heart?
Thank you for your generosity!
Lead Pastor, Ryan Smallwood

Our elementary kids are on a journey through the Bible that get’s them out of their seat and into the story of God. Every week our kids worship through song and dance, participate in interactive lessons, and we take time to explore what the story means to them. And of course we play games, have fun, and build relationships with each other and Jesus.
If you have any questions or concerns please email our Kids Pastor, Emily Fisher.

The special needs ministry at Aldersgate strives to love and serve all families and individuals with any type of special need, never turning anyone away, to make them feel included and safe and to teach them that they are a valuable part of the body of Christ.
J.O.Y. which stands for Jesus, Others, You. As 1 Cor. 12:27 reads, “We are all part of the body of Christ and each one of you is a part of it.” As such, every member deserves to be included in worship and to be encouraged in growing in Christ.
This assigned and trained volunteer may adapt an activity on the spot, remind your child of upcoming transitions, or provide familiarity and comfort to your child with additional needs.
A sensory room will also be available. This room will serve as an alternative environment for children who can benefit from the space during any part/or all of their church experience.
Our goal is to have two buddies per child and eventually expand to include adults.
