Over 65 million people around the world have been forced from their homes by things like war, hunger, and natural disasters (World Vision).
More than half of the world’s refugees (those forced from their homes) are children (Refugee Council).
Refugees often have to live in camps or make their new home in a place very different from their own.

The amount of money spent on pharmaceuticals in the United States rose to an all-time high of $425 billion in 2015 (Bloomberg).
More than 4.3 million Texans, including 623,000 children, lack health insurance and face challenges getting appropriate medical care (Texas Medical Association).
It is estimated that 1 in 5 people living in the United States suffer from a mental illness yet only half of those with a mental illness receive treatment (National Institute of Mental Health).

Facts
Over 2 million adults in the United States are incarcerated in United States federal and state prisons and county jails (United States Bureau of Justice).
The Lubbock County Detention Center has a capacity of 1512 beds.
Aldersgate Church has adopted Cluster 6 (approximately 300 beds) at the Lubbock County Detention Center. We call it the IMPACT Campus and it exists to move prisoners toward a life of freedom that can only come from the love of Christ.

Pray for all those incarcerated in prisons and jails across the country and that they would be open to receiving the good news of Jesus Christ.
Pray for those in the Aldersgate IMPACT Campus at the Lubbock County Detention Center.
Pray for freedom that is found only in Jesus for people needing freedom not just those incarcerated.
